Preston Nguyen, PT, DPT, CSCS graduated from New York University Steinhardt's physical therapy program in 2018. Prior to obtaining his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from NYU, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, San Diego, majoring in Biology and minoring in Political Science.
Dr. Preston specializes in manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, injury prevention, ergonomics and postural re-education, post-op and sports rehabilitation. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and blood flow restriction certified. He has taken various continuing education courses such as Foundations of Manual Therapy at the Institute of Physical Art, Visceral Manipulation 1 at the Barral Institute and orthopedic courses taught by Kevin Wilk.
He believes in using a "hands-on" approach, connecting with his patients through physical contact and emotional understanding. He has a "no pain, no gain" and "work hard, play harder" mentality. Dr. Preston's patients receive an individualized and unique treatment approach that focuses on the connection of the mind, body and spirit. His treatment goals are to empower, heal, uplift, restore and optimize.

Dr. Nguyen recently returned to his hometown of Garden Grove, CA after a 12-year hiatus. When he is not treating patients or cheering for the Los Angeles Lakers or Carlos Alcaraz, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling, snowboarding, camping, coaching and playing tennis, playing basketball, golf bowling, personal training, video games, riding motorcycles and spening time with friends family and family dog, Veggie.
